Repairs and Maintenance Operative (1)
Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Community Campus ’87 Ltd is a leading social enterprise, (recently awarded Investors in People, ‘we invest in people standard’) working to reduce homelessness and create opportunities for service users across the Tees Valley.

The post holder will undertake general repairs and maintenance on all Community Campus properties, ensuring that the work is completed to a high standard at all times, to ensure void properties are available for occupancy as soon as possible, including furniture removal, clearing and cleaning properties etc.

To provide excellent customer service by dealing with all customers appropriately and effectively.

Ensure that the requirements of current legislation and CC’87 Ltd policies are met at all times.

Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation and all sites are equipped with the necessary requirements as identified in company policies and procedures with any breaches or observations being recorded and reported on appropriate paperwork to line management as per company policy.

You will be required to assist the apprentices with their onsite training development optimising the maximum learning opportunities whilst maintaining quality standards and contribute to the completion of apprentice paperwork.

To attend and actively participate in meetings and any training and development activities as and when required.

Complete all necessary paperwork in line with policy and procedures.

Assist in the development and delivery of commercial work.

Be responsible for keys, materials and equipment.

Any other duties as from time to time may be allocated to the post holder consistent with the responsibilities of the post.

Painting and decorating is an essential trade skill required for this post.

Basic skills in general building works (i.e. plumbing, plastering and painting/decorating).

Clean driving licence is desirable as the post holder will have access to a vehicle and will be responsible for transporting other employees to and from site.
