Operations Director

Overview

Community Campus 87 is a leading social enterprise working to reduce homelessness and create opportunities for service users in the Tees Valley. We currently operate a number of exciting projects accommodating and supporting nearly a hundred people.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Operations to lead our organisation towards operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a proven track record in managing teams effectively. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across various departments to ensure maximisation of rental income, void management and control;
• Working with the Care and Repair service to ensure work is carried out to agreed standard and timescale.
• To work within agreed budgets and financial procedures
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that enhance productivity.
• Manage and supervise a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational success and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with senior management to align operational strategies with organisational objectives.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving operational processes and reducing costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Provide regular reports on operational performance to stakeholders.
• To work with the Registered Manager to ensure the OFSTED provision meets the required standards.

Experience

• Proven experience of delivering housing and support within a service delivery framework.
• Managing of contracts and service level agreements between statutory and voluntary sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
• Experience of OFSTED compliance regime.
• Experience of multi-agency partnership working.
