In 2023 the government finally introduced a set of regulations for providers of supported accommodation for sixteen and seventeen year old looked after young people and care leavers. The regulations and guidance document sets out the quality standards which providers must adhere to and banned the placement of looked after children in unregulated placements. 

All providers including Community Campus 87 were required to submit an application to Ofsted by October 28th 2023 which involved the creation of new policies and procedures and infrastructure to ensure the regulations were met. 

We are happy to report that we have had our Ofsted registration inspection and interview and we have received notification of decision to grant registration.
