Community Action Work

Community Campus have worked with the Stockton and Riverside College Princes Trust group over the last few weeks offering community action work placements for over 20 young people. This involved in helping a series of local charities with their work with homeless people. The groups worked with Community Campus ’87, Coatham House and East Cleveland Youth Housing Trust to help with the development of a house in Brotton, a training room in Redcar and at our Stockton base where an ESOL group decorated an office for the Community Led Housing Hub activities. The group left a series of personal care gifts for Community Campus ’87 to use with current and future tenants and trainees. A further group is due to complete another action project in mid-Nov and we look forward to planning our next collaborations.
