Daniel Langlands is a young men’s support worker for Anglicare, Western Australia who gained a scholarship to travel and link with agencies in a similar field of work.
Daniel said “it was priviledge to visit Community Campus and see some of the great work that you and your partners in the Tees Valley do. Campus obviously has excellent local knowledge and connections within the communities that it works, that make it able to respond to local issues and opportunities in a way that other organisations cannot. It was also great to see how local young people not only make use of Campus services but genuinely contribute to the running and development of the organisation. Particularly, meeting some of the apprentices, I was really impressed by the growing confidence and pride in their work. Campus have developed a really empowering mentoring culture which I think many organisations could learn from. Thanks to all who made me so welcome during my visit”.
