How do I apply for Accommodation?
Please visit our Housing and Support Services section to check that you meet our eligibility criteria before you apply for a tenancy.

How long can I live with Community Campus?
Our accommodation is temporary (maximum 2 years) and is a stepping stone to moving into your own independent accommodation.

Are the properties furnished or unfurnished?
The majority of our properties are fully furnished (not general needs housing). However we do not provide bedding, towels, televisions, crockery, pans, cutlery etc.

Am I allowed to decorate my property?
No. The properties are routinely redecorated by our own maintenance team.

Am I allowed a pet?
Permission may be granted for the keeping of small pets which can be confined to cages and tanks but under no circumstances will permission be granted for the keeping of dogs, cats, poultry, ducks, pidgeons, bees or other livestock and any other animal which may cause a nuisance to neighbours.

Assistance dogs such as guide dogs for the blind, hearing dogs for the deaf or dogs for the disabled will always be permitted.

What support can I receive?
Please see our Housing and Support Services section for detailed information regarding our support service.

How do I pay my rent?
If you are entitled to claim housing benefit, your support worker will help you complete the form but it is your reponsibility to ensure that the housing benefit department have all of the required information to ensure payment is made.

Payments of rent can be made at any of our offices and we will accept standing orders.  Unfortunately, we do not have a facility for direct debits or card payments.

What don’t Community Campus provide?
We don’t provide a 24 hour call out service and our support workers are not available 24 hours a day.

How long will I wait before I get somewhere to live?
This is dependent upon your level of housing need, compatibility with any current tenant (for shared properties), suitability to available properties, the level of your support needs and your current circumstances.
