Carl Ditchburn

 

Carl has been involved with Community Campus from conception to realisation, being part of the original group that formed the organisation.  He has been Chief Executive since 1991 and has overseen the growth and development of the organisation to the current point where 50+ people are employed and Community Campus works with over 125 young people per day, providing a range of services from housing to construction, training and personal development.

Carl came from a background of community enterprise development and housing advice.  He has gained a tremendous amount of development and management experience within the voluntary sector.  Carl has a degree in Humanities, an NVQ Level 4 qualification in Operational Management and an IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.

Carl is the voluntary sector representative on the Middlesbrough Local Strategic Partnership, a board member of East Cleveland Youth Housing Trust, Company Secretary of Tees Valley Social Enterprise Partnership and Chair of Commact Europe which forms part of a network of Commonwealth community economic development organisations.
