We were happy to host a study visit from the Housing and Communities Research Team from Birmingham University as part of the group look at community solutions to empty homes. The group included David Mullins from Birmingham University, Dr Eva Morales from the University of Malaga and Professor Yoshi Kikuchi from the University of Fukui Japan. Yoshi came to the organisation back in 2013 to see our empty homes work, he was excited to see the legacy and sustainability of our ongoing activity around empty homes benefiting from our social innovation model.
